Auction – Rules and Regulations
Please review the rules and guidelines prior to bidding.
Auction Start: Friday, February 26th, 2010 at 8:00 AM local Ottawa time.
Auction End: Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at 6:00 PM local Ottawa time.
*** These times are based upon the auction site’s automatic time stamp.
Bidding: You must provide a valid and current email address for your bid to be registered. All bidding will be in Canadian dollars. You must be 18 or older to bid.
Bidding Policies:
- Your bid is considered a commitment to purchasing the item
- Insincere bidding is not permitted
- Bids must be in increments of $5
- Questionable bids will be verified
Registration: Before placing a bid you will be asked to register for the auction. No credit card information will be requested for registration. All information requested is protected by OCRI’s privacy policy (http://www.ocri.ca/assets/privacypolicy.pdf).
Internet Difficulties: OCRI will make every effort to ensure system availability. In the event of technical difficulties, OCRI is not responsible for bids that are not accepted or processed.
As-is policy: All items are offered as-is. Every effort has been made to ensure that photographs are a true reflection of each auction item.
IKEA is our partner in this fundraising event. In addition to providing the space to display the chairs on auction, they are acting as the bid collecting agent and the distributor of the winning chairs.
