I was inspired by the people who are affected by cancer and how strong they truly are. I liked being able to create a piece of art that raises the awareness of not just breast cancer, but cancer in general – not to mention the opportunity to raise money for the School Breakfast Program. The different words on the chair mean hope in all different languages – English, French, Swedish. There are very special people in my life who have been affected by cancer so this chair is a tribute to them.
