You are what you eat

I wanted to maintain the chair as a functional piece of art so that it could be used at the kitchen or dining room table. I thought that blending the Title of the chair “you are what you eat” with Canada’s Food Guide would be a perfect match with supporting the breakfast program.
The simple design of the chair created the spaces and flat surfaces for inclusion of phrases, words and IKEA spoons, forks and knives – the tools used for meals and eating.
I liked the challenge of creating a statement in a 3D design and preserving the chair as a functional piece of furniture
